Police Dog Nabs Fleeing Gunman in Auburn

The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop at Fred Meyer on Auburn Way. But the passenger ran off, pursued by the police dog, named Blitz. Spokesman Larry Miller says the fleeing man shot at the dog. But a bullet-proof vest saved the life the dog's life.
